This free educational tool models taxable U.S. individual accounts using the inputs you provide. It does not know your full financial situation, recommend a personal allocation, execute trades, open accounts or prepare a tax return.
Investment and tax limits
Money market mutual funds are investments, not bank deposits. They can lose value and are not FDIC insured. Yield, liquidity, fees and account eligibility can change. Savings-account insurance depends on the institution, ownership category and applicable limits. Always confirm the issuer’s current terms.
Projections hold rates constant and use prior-year tax percentages as estimates. They do not model every tax, deduction, credit, AMT interaction or future change in law. Actual returns and taxes can differ. See the methodology and coverage page for specific limitations.
