Money market yields and savings APY: what’s different?
A savings APY includes compounding. A money market fund’s seven-day yield annualizes recent income and can change daily. The calculator accounts for this difference, then applies your tax rates and the available issuer tax percentages. A higher headline rate does not always mean more after-tax income.
